Rajant Military Demos and Deployments
Real-world military operations demand communications that adapt, endure, and perform under pressure. These case studies and demonstrations show how Rajant’s intelligent edge solutions enable resilient, mobile wireless communication in dynamic, contested, and infrastructure-denied environments, supporting mission-critical data, video, and sensor communications from the tactical edge to large-scale exercises.
Watch Our Latest Technology Demos in Action
Watch Rajant’s latest intelligent edge technology demos in action as Kinetic Mesh® networking is put to the test in real operational scenarios. These demonstrations highlight how Kinetic Mesh® and InstaMesh® support defense operations, maintaining resilient wireless communication such as convoys, swarms, UAS, troops, and more maneuver through rugged, contested battlefields. Each demo shows how the MANET adapts in real time to sustain mission-critical data, video, and sensor communications without manual intervention.
Rajant BreadCrumb Condor
Rugged Kinetic Mesh® radio. Access to licensed frequencies overcoming obstacles for improved range. Features two MIMO radios, maximum combined data rate of 1.7 Gbps, up to 6X enhanced throughput, and enhanced security performance. Ideal for Military – Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Federal Agencies, Security Contractors, Broadcasting, and Public Safety.
Swarms – Rapid Integration Swarm Ecosystem (RISE)
The research of swarm robotics is to study the design of robots, their physical body and their controlling behaviors. It is inspired but not limited by the emergent behavior observed in social insects, called swarm intelligence. Relatively simple individual rules can produce a large set of complex swarm behaviors. A key component is the communication between the members of the group that build a system of constant feedback. The swarm behavior involves constant change of individuals in cooperation with others, as well as the behavior of the whole group.
Large Scale Distributed Swarm – Rajant
DARPA’s OFFensive Swarm-Enabled Tactics (OFFSET) program envisions future small-unit infantry forces using swarms comprising upwards of 250 unmanned aircraft systems (UASs) and/or unmanned ground systems (UGSs)
Rajant: PACE Demonstration
In this demonstration, Rajant-equipped, vehicle-mounted systems operate through a combination of resilient wireless networking and a 4G tower, working together as an adaptive mesh. While this scenario showcases these specific bearers, Rajant’s architecture is engineered to mesh seamlessly with third-party tactical radios when required. Few solutions can operate across multiple simultaneous frequencies and waveforms while also incorporating external radio systems into a unified mesh when missions demand it.
DX2 – Rajant’s Smallest, Lightest BreadCrumb®
The DX2 is Rajant’s smallest and lightest BreadCrumb® product. Its small footprint and exceptionally low payload weight make it ideal for drone swarms, remote CCTV, telematics monitoring, and other mobile objects.
Integrated Army Program Deployment Scenarios
Beyond traditional tactical communications, Rajant’s Forward Edge technology supports specialized defense applications where mobility, resilience, and autonomy are critical. These use cases highlight how Rajant Kinetic Mesh® enables mission success across unique platforms and operational demands.

Air Defense Airspace Management (ADAM)
Description: Rajant InstaMesh® integrated into Air Defense Airspace Management (ADAM) allows for artillery and air defense radar integration. This supports airspace management, clearance of fires, and indirect fire attack responses (Kinetic or non-Kinetic).

Auto-PACE
Description: Rajant InstaMesh technology self-healing mesh network directs traffic to the fastest pathway, allowing for real-time link evaluation to existing comms on the network (MIMO, LTE/5G, pLEO, GEO). Multi-Spectrum, multi-waveform, multi-orbit capabilities for C2 cooperation.
Counter Unmanned Aerial System (CUAS)
Description: Kinetic Mesh provides continuous, low-latent comms among sensors, radars, cameras, and convoy units. CUAS emphasizes mobility and dispersed maneuvers.

C-RAM
Description: Rajant BreadCrumb radios allow for real-time monitoring for incoming rockets, artillery, warning, and mortar rounds detection and interception capabilities. Features include video processing, wireless warning, & LAN via point-to-point microwave and fiber Network encryption: AES-256, FIPS 140-2, SNMPv3, TLS. Multiple simultaneous licensed frequencies were included for increased resilience.
