Artificial Intelligence DSP Engineer

Rajant Corporation is seeking an AI engineer with strong experience in both deep learning/neural networks and digital signal processing (“DSP”) for the development of a health platform and related applications. Candidates should have developed substantial deep learning models in PyTorch or TensorFlow and should be highly familiar with CNNs, RNNs, auto-encoders, etc. In addition, candidates should have proven experience in adaptive filtering, developing optimized higher-order filters for noise removal, wavelet theory, Kalman Filtering, etc. Ideally, the candidate will have experience with blind separation artifact removal. Experience with Bayesian techniques such as Gaussian Process Regression is also highly desired.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 

This position requires the candidate to have strong machine learning knowledge and hands-on experience for solving real AI problems. The candidate will be comfortable rapidly researching, implementing, and developing deep learning, machine learning, and statistical processes against business requirements. In addition, the candidate will be comfortable partnering with various business lines to translate business analytic problems into technical solutions and actionable recommendations across the organization.

Required Experience:

  • Background in basic machine learning techniques including supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning
  • Statistics and Bayesian Inference
  • Optimized higher-order filters for noise removal
  • Experience in major machine learning frameworks: Pytorch, Scikit-Learn, Tensorflow, Pandas, SparkML
  • Fluency in programming skills such as C/C++, Python

Sales Leads – Air Force & Marine Corp

Rajant Corporation is seeking two (2) Military Sales Leads to assist in the establishment and management of new client relationships, particularly within the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Air Force. The ideal candidate will have previous Military or Department of Defense acquisition experience as well as demonstrated ability to conduct strategic analysis & successful marketing campaigns. The successful Sales Lead will develop relationships with prospective Rajant clients, elicit & understand customer requirements, negotiate contracts & close deals.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct market research, develop strategic business development plans, present business cases for review & provide execution progress status updates.
  • Identify potential clients in the target market & complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business & equipment needs.
  • Partner with sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for current & prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients & communicate terms to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with design & production teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on-time & as agreed.
  • Become a subject matter expert on Rajant products, processes, operations, & remain up to date on industry news.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated successful experience Department of Defense acquisition.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & industry-specific analysis software.
  • Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job.

FPGA Engineer

Rajant’s Information Assurance (IA) team is undertaking a new, multi-phase development program utilizing the latest generation programmable logic (FPGAs). We are seeking an individual with an MSE or BSE degree in Electrical or Computer Systems. The level of experience desired is from new university graduate through 3 years of industry experience.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 

  • Understand design specification documents and industry standard specifications
  • Implement designs using FPGA vendor tool flows as well as Verilog HDL
  • Understand and implement timing constraints and Static Timing Analysis (STA)
  • Create Verilog and/or System Verilog test benches and verification test suites
  • Collaborate with System and SW engineers during HW/SW integration
  • Contribute to program design and review documentation

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 0-3 years of logic design experience
  • Able to work in a small team multi-discipline environment
  • Verilog RTL coding and verification skills
  • Knowledge of Synthesis and Static Timing Analysis (STA), HDL Simulation (Mentor Modelsim)
  • Understanding of RISC microprocessor implementations within System on Chip (SOC) designs
  • Knowledge of multi-domain clock design
  • Independent problem solving and debug skills

Education & Experience:

U.S. Citizen able to acquire DoD Clearance, existing security clearance at Secret Level a plus BSEE required, MSEE preferred
