Sales Leads – Air Force & Marine Corp

Rajant Corporation is seeking two (2) Military Sales Leads to assist in the establishment and management of new client relationships, particularly within the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Air Force. The ideal candidate will have previous Military or Department of Defense acquisition experience as well as demonstrated ability to conduct strategic analysis & successful marketing campaigns. The successful Sales Lead will develop relationships with prospective Rajant clients, elicit & understand customer requirements, negotiate contracts & close deals.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct market research, develop strategic business development plans, present business cases for review & provide execution progress status updates.
  • Identify potential clients in the target market & complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business & equipment needs.
  • Partner with sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for current & prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients & communicate terms to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with design & production teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on-time & as agreed.
  • Become a subject matter expert on Rajant products, processes, operations, & remain up to date on industry news.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated successful experience Department of Defense acquisition.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & industry-specific analysis software.
  • Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job.
  • Innovation & problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop & propose equipment-based solutions for clients.

Education & Experience:

We value experience just as highly as formal education.  Ideal: Recent or soon-to-be retired from the United States Marine Corps or United States Air Force. Bachelor or Masters degree a plus.

FPGA Engineer

Rajant’s Information Assurance (IA) team is undertaking a new, multi-phase development program utilizing the latest generation programmable logic (FPGAs). We are seeking an individual with an MSE or BSE degree in Electrical or Computer Systems. The level of experience desired is from new university graduate through 3 years of industry experience.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 

  • Understand design specification documents and industry standard specifications
  • Implement designs using FPGA vendor tool flows as well as Verilog HDL
  • Understand and implement timing constraints and Static Timing Analysis (STA)
  • Create Verilog and/or System Verilog test benches and verification test suites
  • Collaborate with System and SW engineers during HW/SW integration
  • Contribute to program design and review documentation

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 0-3 years of logic design experience
  • Able to work in a small team multi-discipline environment
  • Verilog RTL coding and verification skills
  • Knowledge of Synthesis and Static Timing Analysis (STA), HDL Simulation (Mentor Modelsim)
  • Understanding of RISC microprocessor implementations within System on Chip (SOC) designs
  • Knowledge of multi-domain clock design
  • Independent problem solving and debug skills

Education & Experience:

U.S. Citizen able to acquire DoD Clearance, existing security clearance at Secret Level a plus BSEE required, MSEE preferred

Associate Director, IT and Security

Rajant Corporation is seeking an Associate Director of IT and Security to lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor performance of Information Technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
  • Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes and carry them out
  • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
  • Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT across multiple locations
  • Maintain CMMC compliance

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience leading and managing large and small IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems and phone systems
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
  • Ability to manage others in an office help desk environment
  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
  • Enterprise Windows expertise
  • Linux expertise (multiple distributions)
  • Experience with DevOps/Cloud technologies
  • Solid understanding of network and device security
  • Familiarity with Cisco Products
  • IT experience in a DoD subcontracting environment, DoD standards (NIST 800-171, DFARS 252.204-7012, Exostar, and dod.mil)
  • Eligibility to obtain a security clearance

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years’ experience working in IT operations and security.
