Electronics Manufacturing Engineer

Electronics Manufacturing Engineer


Candidate must have experience in engineering support within a manufacturing operation. Hands-on knowledge of electro-mechanical manufacturing and assembly are a must.   One must have strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency to drive things to completion, and the ability to communicate with team members across various disciplines. You will be transferring designs out of Development, and into production with a Contract Manufacturer.


  • Primary liaison providing technical guidance to production operations and suppliers.
  • Operations lead for new product introductions and engineering design changes (ECN/ECR).
  • Create an efficient production process and work instructions to build and ship custom configured products within market-driven lead time.
  • Work with other engineering groups to purchase, design, build, and certify new equipment and processes. Transition new products from development to manufacturing and support startup activities upon release to market.
  • Participate in the product engineering development cycle with deep involvement during various stages of design review.
  • Review drawings, blueprints, sketches, schematics, manuals or sample parts to establish an appropriate manufacturing process.
  • Work directly with suppliers and contract manufacturers to address manufacturing issues and implement solutions.
  • Champion of the MRP/ERP system; responsible for creating and maintaining BOM and routing information.
  • Support Quality team on investigation and corrective action for product quality issues.
  • Act as a team leader with excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Provide technical know-how and drive best practices for manufacturability.
  • Support the needs of other job functions (logistics, warehouse, technical sales, instrumentation) within a small team structure.


  • BS degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Prefer cross-discipline EE/ME experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in a manufacturing function
  • Electro-mechanical and/or component level printed circuit board production experience
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office products and familiarity with ERP systems.
