Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Rajant is in search of an experienced Artificial Intelligence Engineer (AI) for the development of solutions using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). Daily expectations will include working with partners to translate business analytic problems into cognitive computing technologies to solve business problems with actionable recommendations. In addition, hires will be expected to write code for research, development, and maintenance of deep learning and machine learning, in particular modeling and cognitive computing. All candidates will be required to pass a 90-minute technical screen.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, modeling, and statistical analysis tools for solving real AI problems 
  • Fluency in programming skills such as Python, R, or other equivalent languages

iOS Developer

Rajant is seeking an experienced iOS Developer to develop UI/UX and assist with architecture and infrastructure for at least one complex real-time iOS application to support a Health-related platform. The candidate will need to provide a portfolio of previous work and pass a technical screening.

Required Experience:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience required developing native iOS apps
  • Strong and elegant coding and architecture abilities. You are expected to be able to develop software architectures and solutions independently and generate production-level code
  • Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Ability to write bug-free code that will be deployed in dynamic real-world scenarios

Software Tester/DevOps Engineer

Rajant is seeking an experienced Software Tester/DevOps Engineer to support projects for a Health-related platform. The candidate will need to pass a technical screening.

Our teams are organized around business capabilities such as cross-functional teams of firmware, UI, middleware, and back-end developers. We are looking for someone to develop and maintain the continuous integration and testing system for a variety of software projects with monolithic and microservices-based architectures. The expectation is that the system will be automated with little or no manual intervention and fit into our DevOps ecosystem.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Plan, define, execute, report, and refine quality test plans and test cases per the organizational quality objectives
  • Understand the domain product vision and roadmap
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Develop and manage QA automation roadmap to enable continuous improvement
  • Write, execute and maintain a combination of manual and automated testing to ensure high-quality releases
  • Increase the automation of tasks and expand test coverage through both new and existing infrastructure
  • Be able to work across multiple platforms (Web, Android, iOS, Linux) is required

Senior Backend Engineer

Rajant is in search of an experienced Senior Backend Engineer for the development of data structures and algorithms associated with a data processing and artificial intelligence analysis platform. Daily expectations include architecting and implementing the backend for Rajant’s ML/AI health platform. In addition, hires will be expected to write code for the management of the MLOps infrastructure that facilitates our AI ecosystem. All candidates will be required to pass a 90-minute technical screen.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field
  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • 1+ years of professional experience as a software architect
  • Experience with architecting and building high-performing, reliable, scalable, and secure backend systems

Verification Engineer

Rajant is seeking an experienced Verification Engineer to join their Information Assurance (IA) team. The IA team is currently developing a leading-edge System on Chip (SoC) security processor for Rajant’s mesh radio product offerings.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop VHDL, Verilog, and System Verilog test benches, models, and SOC verification software 
  • Develop test solutions for FPGA SOC development platforms
  • Develop test plans from requirements documents, analyzing and increasing test coverage for devices under test
  • Develop and debug targeted and pseudo-random tests for both simulation and embedded FPGA SOC designs
  • Lead the verification effort for a small team of Software and FPGA engineers
  • Configuration Management of test cases
  • Participate in the bring-up and test of engineering and production product platforms
  • Contribute to system certification documentation

Desirable Experience:

  • 5+ years of FPGA and/or ASIC verification experience

FPGA Design Engineer

Rajant is seeking an experienced FPGA/ASIC Design Engineer to join their Information Assurance (IA) team. The IA team is currently developing a leading-edge System on Chip (SoC) security processor for Rajant’s mesh radio product offerings.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Experience in all phases of FPGA design and verification, ASIC design process is beneficial
  • Define, architect, design, verify and integrate high-performance blocks for an advanced SOC with cryptographic processors
  • Perform micro-architecture and logic design using Verilog, System Verilog, VHDL, and FPGA toolsets
  • Collaborate with verification and software teams in the development of the test plan and assist in debugging test failures
  • Collaborate with vendor backend physical design team to develop timing constraints, analyze timing violations and perform timing fixes
  • Participate in bring-up and test of initial FPGA and ASIC system
  • Contribute to certification documentation

Desirable Experience:

  • 5+ years of FPGA and/or ASIC design experience
  • Able to work with minimal guidance as both an individual and a team contributor
  • Strong Verilog and VHDL coding skills
  • Knowledge of Synthesis and STA (Cadence and/or Synopsys), Simulation (Mentor Modelsim). Knowledge of LEC, Lint, Altera Quartus, and Xilinx Vivado FPGA tools is beneficial

Asst Facilities & Kitchen Manager (Business Dining)

Rajant Corporation is seeking an Assistant Facilities & Kitchen Manager to assist with the day-to-day Facilities and Food Service operation (Breakfast and Lunch daily) of a small-medium volume Office/Conference location with 60 employees on site. Requires both Front-of-House and Back-of-House experience.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, Part-Time, Hourly, approx 25-30 hours per week. Schedule is flexible, between hours of 7:30 am and 2 pm daily. Occasional evening events would require attendance and participation. Could possibly develop into a Full-Time position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

    Kitchen:

  • Coordinate with local caterers on a weekly or monthly menu to support food ordering.
  • Order and maintain inventory of Food, Beverage, and Paper products. 
  • Assist with all station set-up, food service, and breakdown. 
  • Lead Kitchen re-organization with a focus on Quality and Food Safety / Sanitation.  
  • Establish, maintain cleaning & maintenance schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas. 
  • Maintain organization and stock supply of the main kitchen and 2 small kitchenettes.

    Facilities:

  • Act as liaison with Cleaning Service, Caterer, Bakery, and necessary Vendors.
  • Assist in procuring furniture for new hires when necessary. 
  • Assist in setup or breakdown of furniture.
  • Work with event planners for in-house events.
  • Staff and assist in managing in-house events
  • Occasionally assist with off-site events when necessary.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Requires restaurant or hotel experience. Preferred both Front-of-House and Back-of-House experience. 
  • Requires Food Handlers License or ServSafe certification or ability to obtain. 
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Flexible personality to wear multiple hats and help team members whenever necessary.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 60 lbs.

Requires Food Handlers License or ServSafe certification or ability to obtain. 2 years minimum Culinary/Kitchen Supervisory or Lead experience in Restaurants, Hotels, Education, or Corporate Dining.  (Sous chef, asst dining services, AGM)
