Industry veteran, Kirk Byles, will join the Rajant team to help build new sales programs and bolster channel relationships
Malvern, Pa. – July 7, 2014 – Rajant Corporation, the pioneer of Kinetic Mesh™ networks and provider of proven, multi-frequency mesh networking solutions, today announced the addition of Kirk Byles as its vice president of sales and marketing.
In his new role, Byles will work with Rajant’s sales force to help strengthen existing channel partnerships and integrate sales growth strategies, while building new partner and customer relationships in the oil and gas and utility industries.
Byles brings years of sales experience in the wireless broadband industry and telecommunications sector. Prior to joining Rajant, Byles worked with wireless mesh technology company, Firetide Inc., where he served as the vice president of North American sales. While at Firetide, he helped alleviate the company’s dependence on city-wide surveillance and diversify the industries it supported.

As a technology industry veteran, Byles has experience working with both Fortune 100 public companies and early-stage startups. During his six-year tenure with Motorola Inc., he was acknowledged as one of the Top 25 Channel Leaders to know and successfully developed a channel program for the company’s Canopy product line that garnered multiple awards. Along with Motorola, Byles has also worked with Comstor US, E-Band Communications and Relevant Security.
