Rajant Honors Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors with Veterans Day Philanthropy

Tenth Annual Veterans Day Remembrance and Presentation of $20,000 Donation

Malvern, PA – November 9, 2023:  Rajant Corporation, the pioneer of Kinetic Mesh wireless networks, will host its tenth annual Veterans Day remembrance in support of Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors at Rajant’s headquarters in Malvern, Pennsylvania, tomorrow evening from 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM.

Rajant co-founder and CEO Robert Schena will present a $20,000 donation to Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc., an independent, statewide nonprofit organization through which 95 percent of all donations go directly to veterans needing financial support and their families. The gift comes from a $15,000 contribution from Rajant in the name of the company’s annual golf tournament winners and a $5,000 contribution from Rajant’s manufacturing partner EFE.

“This event is very special to Rajant. For the last decade, we have hosted an evening to honor and remember the selfless service of soldiers who protect our country’s freedom,” states Robert Schena. “We gather to acknowledge veterans and extend thanks as a company. This annual tradition begins each spring at our Partner Summit, where attendees enjoy a friendly golf competition, and winning prizes are graciously paid forward with all earnings making up the donation dollars we present on Veterans Day. This year’s Partner Summit golf winners, who were also acknowledged for their sportsmanship and charitable passing of prize money, are Chris Wall, Krista Wall, DeWayne Thompson, and Gary Wroblewski.

Additionally, Mr. Schena will present a $1,000 donation to Friends of the Medal of Honor Grove, a 501(C) 3 located in Valley Forge (PA). It is the oldest living memorial for our nation’s highest military honor. Rajant’s gift will go to Wreaths Across the Grove, which takes place on December 16th, 2023, and blankets the 40+ acres with holiday wreaths beautifying the graves for the 3,500+ recipients of our country’s Medal of Honor.

On hand for special remarks will be Chester County (PA) Commissioner Marian Moskowitz and Colonel Rebecca A. Gray (Vice Commander of 111th Attack Wing at Biddle Air National Guard). Music will be presented by the Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale, led by Artistic Director Jeffrey R. Smith. The musical ensemble is renowned for its commanding musicianship, intelligence, and interpretive abilities. They are Emmy-winning and Grammy-nominated with a global following. Established in the 1960s, achievements include world tours, recordings with internationally renowned orchestras and soloists such as Luciano Pavarotti, and television appearances such as Good Morning America. Catering is courtesy of West Chester’s dolce Zola.
